Mik Hetu made something out of nothing, or more accurately, he noticed something right in front of all our faces and from it made something fun for all of us. He took the world’s love of a simple, very human thing (napping) and combined it with another very human thing (joking and teasing each other about napping) and made a little book to celebrate the fun of it all: Napism.Info – for people who take their naps “religiously.”
What he did – in itself – is, of course, not earth-shaking or society-changing. He is being noted here not for the book itself (although it is, as one reviewer wrote, “fairly entertaining”, it is obviously not even an attempt at “high literature.”) No, he is being noted on this website simply because he had a creative idea and then, instead of just letting the idea fade and sink forgotten into the Abyss of Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda, he did something with it. He had an idea and then he did something with it. He had an idea and then he did something with it . . . He had an idea and then . . .
